All players registered or interested in the club’s varsity, Under 15 or Under 13 spring competitive teams, and at least one of those players’ parents or guardians, must attend.
The agenda will include season schedules, practice schedules, fundraisers (optional), apparel order, season expectations, introduction of coaches, etc.
At this time, everyone who registered for the team of their choice is rostered on that team. However, there are still open positions for all three squads: varsity, U15 and U13. We can always use more budding young lacrosse players!
The tentative varsity indoor practice schedule is posted on the club’s official website here. Monday practices are firm. The other listed practices are fairly firm for the U13 and U15 teams. The varsity practices (other than Mondays) are tentative as we explore the rental of the Golf Bubble. There will also be conditioning in West Fargo at the Vets Arena; probably on Tuesday evenings. The U13 and U15 game schedules will be negotiated on March 2 in Minneapolis.
“The club has expanded for the second straight year. And the Warriors are exploring adding a girls team as well,” said club President Matt Noah. “We have come a long way since 2011 when we had 1 team and 1 win. It is exciting to see the kids have this opportunity to play the sport of their choice.”
The Fargo Warriors Lacrosse Club was incorporated in 2007 and has offered programs for players from third grade through high school.
