FARGO, N.D. – Apparently, according to a recent story in the Argus Leader, a South Dakota man is pushing to introduce lacrosse to the state’s youth.

Collegiate lacrosse has been played at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion for a number of years but the youth game has been relatively unseen in South Dakota. Rapid City has a couple of start-up programs but it looks like the Sioux Falls area will make the first real push to roster a competitive team.
